OK, finally updating stuff this past weekend while waiting for results and I'm having one heck of a problem...it seems show photographers are using a protective finish on photos (I guess so there are less fingerprints????), that look fine to the naked eye, but when scanned into programs that put them on web pages (or even in e-mails) the scanner picks up the coating and the pictures come up a little "blurry" on screen. Some older scanners have a setting I guess, that can help....but the newer ones don't...anybody else have this problem w/ a scanner being too sensitive and if so, what are you doing about it?
