I forgot to mention that our very own, Cappy Pottle and Gloria Birch,
Covy-Tucker Hills Kennel, were honorees at the Santa Barbara/Purina ProPlan
2011 Breeders Showcase this past weekend. They were the 2011 Honorees for
their contribution to the Sport, representing the Herding Group with their
German Shepherd Dogs. They even entered and showed a couple of dogs, Gloria
handling, of course. It is always wonderful to meet and greet the legends of
our breed at these very prestigious all-breed shows. Breeders, exhibitors,
handlers, dog shows!! That IS what it is all about, right?? Paula, 28 days
and counting Home of BIS, BISS, Multi-Group Winning, AKC JAM/AOE,
International & American Champion, Bronze Grand Champion Asgard Harley Davidson
v Plamark, HT, PT, CGC, TC, HIC, OFA CHIC #64047 (Hips, Elbows, Cardiac, &
Thyroid), 1st male German Shepherd Dog Grand Champion, Lifetime #1 GSD in
California & Michigan (AKC Stats as of 8/20/11), 2011 Westminster Kennel Club
Dog Show Invitee.
