In my opinion there is not a Vet open for business that cannot do this test
whether it is the San
Francisco area or an outpost Vet in North Dakota. <G>
It is so simple.
They send the sample to one of the Labs.......and wait for the results.... and
call you with the results.
How easy is that? The Postal service and a Lab takes care of almost
everything..... <G>
There can be varying opinions on the results.......but our Repro Vet we used
for years would not
recommend breeding any dog or bitch at 2+ or over for mycoplasma.....without
treatment first.
I cannot even begin to understand why a Vet would REFUSE to do the test for
you. I can understand
varying opinions on treatment, breeding, etc........but I cannot understand
refusing to do the test for you
pre-breeding.
