The Tucson club is taking a rest and we are re-gaining our forces.
We intend to put on another great show next year.
This year was especially hectic because of the Fut/Mat, but we are
regenerating and will be good to go.
Hope to see you all again in Tucson next spring.

I read with interest the AKC policy permitting same day Specialities.
Of course we all wish for entries larger than 50, but we seen too many
lately with entries below that.
I hope that those opposed to this idea (with somewhat valid reasons), will
seriously consider the donation of their time or money or both to help
their
local clubs. Many clubs are struggling with too few members or too little
in
their treasuries to enhance their club or shows. Many clubs must forego
Obedience because they loose too much money or don't have the membership to
support the venue.
We are fortunate to have sufficient hard working membership to maintain a
quality show. But believe me, Jean and show committee put in many hours
of
effort to pull off a great show, but also a terrific money making raffle
that
each year helps to defray much of our $500 ground expenses.
I hope its not true, but we've heard that the GSDC of Tucson is folding
because of the lack of members to put on a show. Those of us who were
there
this year for the show held in conjunction with the SP Futurity were wowed
by a
great show at a superb facility. Lets hope this is not going to happen!
