When I lived in California years ago I also had a sales tax number and paid
taxes on sales. It also allowed me to not pay taxes on a lot of things and buy
many items at wholesale prices. I did not mind paying my share.

see it on a regular basis. Which kind of gripes me because I haven't had a
litter of GSD's in over 8 years. Yet these people in the paper probably bred
their cocker every 6 months and had 8 puppies that all lived each time and
don't pay sales tax on any of them.
The only way sales tax is fair is if EVERYONE has to pay it and have bill's
of sale for proof of price.
The News papers should not run their ad's without a sales tax number. JMO
