This past week has indeed been very, very turbulent, but we are happy to
report that all of the GSD people in San Diego County are safe and sound. A
number of us evacuated with our dogs; we were gone for 3 days. All homes,
people, and dogs ARE SAFE!!!!!!!! We immensely appreciate all of the phone
calls
and emails from many of you who expressed deep concern about our situation.
We will NEVER, EVER be able to thank Cathleen Bennett and Joe Guay of
Crossroad GSDs and boarding kennel enough for allowing Dave and I and all
of our
ROCKNOLL dogs to descend on them. They shared space, kennel runs, food,
hospitality, and above all friendship and concern. You guys are the best &
deserve a special award!!!!!!!!!!!!
We also want to thank all of the folks who assisted with medical attention
and support when Dave became ill on Saturday at the national. Special thanks
to Tom Mesdag, Jim York, Peggy Kurz, Alys from the RMGSDC, Patty Korsch, Paul
and Jennifer Root, Liz Leschhorn, Darlene & Bob Ghigleri, Paula Cooke,
Evan......and all of you that I may have failed to mention. It was a very
stressful time but Dave recovered very quickly. The urgent care prescribed
medication was magical!!!!!!!! <G>
And, last, but certainly not least we want to brag on our AOE MVX 2X Sel. EX.
Am./Can. Champion Rivendell's Start the Commotion HT, TC. Molly was
select under judge Ed Barritt. Thanks to Ed, thanks to the fancy for your
support, and thanks to Team Molly.....Paul, Jennifer, Jack Kilgour, Nick,
Robert, John, Jean. As always, our utmost THANKS to Molly's handler and great
supporter, Art Sinclair. You are the best!
We are home, we are tired, we are thankful, we are blessed. Thanks for
listening!
