No it should not stop after the LLTT. If I have a pet peeve..it is this
one..I HATE a spook. I loathe a shrinking, sniffling, weak minded dog. I do
have a double standard..I will forgive a bit more in a bitch than a
dog..because I hold a dog to a higher level,,after all he is the male of
the species and his influence could be greater on the Breed. Joe Bihari
used to run his hand down the dogs back and turn his hand and gently lift
the dogs tail and let it fall naturally to see how relaxed the dog was. if
the tail curled around his hand..or if the tail when dropped immediately
tucked up..this pretty much summed it up.This technique may not ferret out
all spooks..but it does quite a few. Often handlers with spooks keep
flipping the dogs tail out( when the judge isn't looking) so that the judge
can't see the tucked tail touching the stomach. Of course now days many use
"herbal" remedies to relax those who may otherwise not pass even the
LLTT..so it is often hard to tell anymore who is a spook and who is not.
