[ SHOWGSD-L ] 'SOME' doubts...

I know I missed the right time, but this has been on my mind since we started
talking about feeding raw. I have been busy bringing justice to the world.

We, humans, used to eat raw as well. Some jerk suggested we burn all our food
with the new invention, fire. Ever since then we have had so many health
problems, and everyone over 100 or so, with a few exceptions, has died. It must
be from eating all the cooked food.

I suggest we all go back and do what was natural. Eat the food raw, eat nuts
and berries, and since we have sharp teeth, kill what we can, grab whatever
road kill we find, and gorge on raw meat, as man was meant to do.

We won't have to worry about living to 100 any more, as our ancestors did, we
can die at age 20 or younger. Just think, only being married for five or six
years, only having to work at that terrible job five years or so, not having to
worry about getting an advanced degree, we can end our education at sixth
grade. So little arthritis, little Alzheimer's disease, and no hair loss.

I say, all you young folk, go back to eating raw as man was meant to do. I
know, being old is not what they claim it will be. Wisdom is way over-rated.

You mean I'm a "GROUPIE"??? <G>
SOOOooooooo....Is there a 'radical fanatical' group 4 ? Those who are
convinced our dogs MUST eat like a wolf who has to run forty miles a day
through snow and rough terrain to make their raw live kill and then gorge
themselves on the kill until they can't move and then start all over again in
two days. <G> In that sense we are also failures in that we pick and choose
who will be bred to who and how they will live.......while the wolf pack only
allows one mating pair and lives free.
We all love Group # 4 because of their complete belief and devotion to
something they believe in and following up with action.......but we
fail....therefore I think we need another Group to make ourselves look good.
PRESENTING: Group # 5....Dogs MUST run 40 miles a day....must gorge on live
kills and only eat starting with the gut ..and finish with the bones a day
later....must not eat again for another day or so.....must not mate unless
leader of the pack...and must kill anyone who chooses to bathe and blow dry
them or have them herd sheep without killing ANY!

Another outstanding post! A diet correct or incorrect has a more telling effect
on the inside! It's like smoking cigarettes! You can NOT tell who smokes or
not just by looking at people sitting in church!... Cut them open and check out
their lungs!.....Our friends ( big tobacco companies) for years tried to
convince us that smoking was not harmful to your health.. Mother Nature
disagreed.... Simple science, Carolyn I love you too but you are in group 3.

Hi Ed;
We feed kibble and 'some' raw. Just an average adult maintenance kibble. No
special Brand; Nutra Nuggets that we get from Costco. Never ever been on the
'recall' list. Mainly kibble with a crock pot of cooked chicken and broth to
add..( .just to make me feel better <G> ) and a big raw beef bone every
other day to occupy them when we are not home and clean their teeth.
Occasionally when we see a good buy we feed them something raw...but it's not a
big part of our lifestyle for the dogs. Worked at a raw diet for a
while....never saw a difference. Never lost a dog or had a sick dog on it
....but never saw any difference. ( I realize we did not feed it the
lifetime of any dog for an ultimate test...but saw no reason to. ) Most were
happy with the mainly raw...but equally happy with the kibble diet. Not worth
the expense and lifestyle for me I admit. Like Kathy...I see no difference
between our dogs and those that I know are on a raw diet. Except for the
three weeks of shedding ....our dogs are always in show condition, always super
alert and full of energy and willing to do just about anything; eager to please
and work and show. The bitches are easy breeders, easy whelping, and the
studs are super eager studs. Puppies are as healthy and strong as any I know.
No health issues at all in general. Were it any different....or any
different comparing to those fed raw...we would most definitely feed raw. I
truly believe that most of it is in the genetics and THAT is where we put in
most of our concern and effort.
I am not offended by your comment....I typically never get into the diet
discussions and see no reason to argue the issue anyway as up to this point we
just have no reason to seek any change for our dogs, or challenge anyone else's
opinion. They are just too healthy with no health issues to be concerned
about.....SO FAR!!! I AM smart enough to know that can change at any
moment!! But I can only hope and pray that continues until we are done with
this sport and hobby as our dogs live out their lives. I wouldn't want it any
other way.....for them.....or us. IF we had health issues I would first get
into a serious Pedigree hunt and study on what we have done with a breeding!!

I often ask myself when I think something is fairly clear, like OJ Simpson
being guilty of two murders and he was clearly guilty beyond a reasonable
doubt, but the jury saw things differently, so I asked why... I came to some
reasons why the jury did what it did, so if I offended you about my kibble "3
groups" sorry, it was not my intention ( but I still plan to use my grouping in
my video because I believe it's true... If you would tell me why you feed
kibble? Remember I've had dogs since I was 9 years old... And we feed kibble!
But for the past 11 years we have been feeding raw.... I've been eating
McDonald's for 50 years too, and it has finally caught up with me.... So once
again anyone out there. Why do you feed kibble? Ed

LOL, interesting philosophy Mr. Ginsburg! I like it! Coming from Law
enforcement family and past involvement; what always fascinated me is how each
witness/victim will tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the
truth....and they did!!! What is not factor is what's called PERCEPTION! Each
person sees things differently because of how their processes it.
So categorize people into categories is what I agree with Evan. Everyone has
different experiences with not one person OR dog being the same. To
approach it as levels kinda does a disservice to the learning process.
Interesting input from people! Angela

Everyone comes from the truth.

I try not to bring up religion, as everyone says theirs is the only way. I
always question opinions. Now, that doesn't mean all opinions are wrong, but
saying yours is the only right one, requires me to start from a position of
doubt.

I know some radical religious people think they have to kill those who don't
believe as they do. They are right, for them. Some politicians think they have
the right answers, for them they are right. Some lawyers think they have the
answers, and after a court says otherwise, they still believe they are right.

There is supposed to be such a thing as an apriori truth. I have lived 70 plus
years thinking there is no such thing. And, I am absolutely right. Unless it
is my own opinion. Then it is an apriori truth.

Just got several private emails telling me they are looking forward to my
"production" so I'll give you a quick preview of my content ( the list is
extremely slow so what the hell) I will begin after my introduction telling my
viewers that there are three kinds of "kibble" feeders and I mean no disrespect
to any of them ... First group, these people just don't know any better, they
aren't familiar with Raw diets or in many cases have never heard of feeding
raw. The second group of folks really believe that kibble is the correct way,
they know about raw but Wall Street and many Veterinarians have them fooled,
The third group that feeds kibble knows that the appropriate diet does NOT come
processed out of a can or in 40 pound bags of heat-treated kibble pellets..but
convenience out weighs their common sense and intelligence... If any of this
upset you, you need NOT watch my video, cuz I'm coming with the truth, the
whole, truth and nothing but the truth so help me God!.... Working in
law-enforcement and testifying in court you have no idea how many times I've
heard that line! FB
