The relationships and players in the world of the WUSV competitive groups is
a subject that tends to confuse those who are not involved in SchH and
WUSV-style competition.
The North American Sieger Show is a huge and important event - details are
at http://www.gsdinfonow.com/Events/2005_NASS/Pages/NASS_Home.htm
It is in Western Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh area), so within easy striking
distance of many GSDCA members. It is sponsored by the Keystone-Buckeye
Hundesport Klub, a GSDCA-WDA member club, which is NOT trying to replace the
GSDCA with another group at the WUSV.
If you have never seen this style of GSD competition, you owe it to yourself
to go and watch. It is so critically important that the GSD world stick
together.....!! You will meet lots of other GSD fanciers, whose interests
and ideals are somewhat different, but with whom there is also a great deal
in common.
They will be awarding special trophies for the highest placed AMERICAN BRED
DOGS in the 12-18 month, 18-24 month, and Working classes......!!!!!! We
definitely DO need to embrace the other venues, and the IDEAL way to do that
is to embrace those who are supportive of American dogs and of the GSDCA.
