Terry,
I have a black dog too! I brought her to a groomer before my first show (it
was a 5 show weekend), and she must have put some kind of conditioner or
something on her. Well, she looked great and I went to bed happy. Woke up and
threw her in the car (it was dark as I had to leave at 5:30). Get to show and
she has white dandruff looking stuff all over her! Yikes! I totally freaked
out. Luckily, the people at show saw me freaking out and came over and helped
me try to fix her (water spray bottle and rub down with towel). We got rid of
the white but she lost her "fluff/poof" in her coat.
