Stormy!!!!! It's VERY different than using beef, turkey or chicken bones to
make stock lol...I don't put "ammonia" in my soup stock:)
Now, I might oven roast the beef or veal bones with some veggies and use a
little tomato paste rubbed on the bones before they go in the oven, and I
wash but don't peel the onions, carrots or celery that I use for stock but
ammonia??? Nope, that is in my glass cleaner...not stock.

before a Celebrity Chef wanted to make headlines and before the MEdia
jumped in and created a hysterical reaction, the manufacture of LFTB
employed a few thousand people and gave 2 cities a factory that
employed them. And gave a less expensive product for those who have a
hard time making ends meet.
Nothing different than using the meaty soup bone to make delicious
beef stock. It's scraped off the bones and made 'sanitary' (for want
of a better word), and added to ground beef, which is already that
which is left over from the steaks and chops.
If one doesn't want to eat that, then don't use the beef bones (or
chicken/turkey bones) for that great tasting soup that uses every last
bit of the dinner so as to waste no, want not.
That's as far off topic that I'll probably go today..
