And this is why it was a fruitful day (and hope it carries over to Tuesday).
Today, I went to the SouthBay KC show in Torrance with a 3 page flyer about
the upcoming meeting in L.A. city council chambers (among other information
at
the CFoDC table with my fellow board members), but ended up walking around
the
vendors, stopping and talking to the public that was around. Talked to
...wow...couldn't count. But all were astonished and appalled...thought
the M
S/N was all over..."geesh, didn't we kill it in Sacramento?," even those
that
were exhibitors. My voice is hoarse, my old legs are tired, but at some
points, I had 4 or 5 people around me listening. And promising to go to
the
council meeting or faxing them. (At one point they suggested having them
shot or
the dogs licking them to death, but I convinced them that their DOGS VOTE!
I hate being a "mouthpiece", out there, talking to PEOPLE! but DARN! This
is important!!!!
