How many Obedience folks think it means more to get a "leg" or finish a title
at the National? If I had a white who was ready for an obedience title, I
would show at the GSDCA National Obedience Trial, if I could get there.
If I had a TOP obedience GSD, regardless of color, I would want to compete at
the GSDCA National Obedience Trial, where the TOP competitors would be
gathering.
This is also called "supporting your breed club"

OK people..you can't have it both ways...if you want to give the top
performance
titles to GSD's with no DQ's then a line needs to be put into the premium list
stating "the top GSDCA Performance award will be given to a dog that meets the
standard and has NO disqualifying faults, this dog may be spayed or neutered,
but must meet the GSD standard for Conformation dogs"
If you are unwilling to award Obedience/Rally Victor/Vtx to a white dog, then
state it clearly and do not take their money..Each of these dogs can win a HIGH
IN TRIAL or HIGH COMBINED at an A K C show they do not need our national to do
this....
they can do it for less money and no hurt feelings after a great
performance...........No I do not nor ever have been a person who shows their
dogs in Performance events......(unless you count 1 in 28 years) but have
always showed my dogs in the conformation ring..........PLEASE if you do not
want to give them the GSDCA highest award in performance events at the
national...make it very clear that you also do not want their money
