Michael and Susan and Abby Congratulations onl the wins at the Great Lakes
Futurity!!!!
It is nice to see a judge(Ms. Hardcastle)not care that the same handler won the
futurity on one side and feel the pressure to "spread it" around and thereby
dilute her judging of the dogs. Dogs win, not owners, not handlers as it should
be!!!!
I have shown to Gail in the past and she is impressive for her knowledge,
attention to detail and strong constitution. If i recall when i showed under in
California, it was like a 100 degrees and she had a huge futurity and maturity
and she handled the elements in the same manner. While the rest of us were
falling off like flies, she just kept going.
Seems like she's the US post, neither rain or snow or heat of day will deter
her from her task. Her next assignment should be in Florida to see if she can
withstand a hurricane!!!<G>

SEL EX Chai refuses to let GV Mocha have all of the fun...She recognized the
talent of Ms. Abby Hathaway (who did such a great job with her in
Canada),and gave Abby a call and asked Abby to handle her(Chai's) son -
TRAFALGAR's Feature Presentation - at the Great Lakes Futurity...and once
again Abby did her thing big time...handling Feature Presentation to Best
Opposite to Best In Futurity. Special thanks to Gail Hardcastle who gave
the nod to our boy , Abby & Lori for handling, grooming, ringing bells and
just being good friends well before there was a Feature Presentation, to
ringside for all of the wonderful comments and support, the club members who
made these shows possible, and those who helped push my van out of the mud
(you'd have thought the field would have been frozen solid)....
Oh, wait..one more note..."TRAFALGAR's I Told U So", wasn't to be outdone by
her brother, as she went on to win her Futurity class....first time in the
ring, first time shown, coat totally blown, and again expertly handled by
Abby Hathaway.....Thanks to one & all.....
