How interesting. If someone spends M-F trying not to be sued, I would look
closely at their life and what they are doing to others that might cause
them to sue them.
Do right, harm no one, speak truthfully, follow the laws, and live long and

How nice it would be if life were that simple. After 25 yrs on LAPD, it seems
all we did was try not to get sued.
I was sued by idiot Yagmam for incidents that happened when I wasn't even
working Rampart Division. I have been
sued for protecting the public against criminals who have even attacked me and
caused life changing injuries.
The damn City settled rather than pay to take it to court. I have been sued
for just being a police officer.
I am glad I am retired since being a police officer now means PR and picking up
the pieces, after the crime.
There is no pro-active law enforcement.
Bad guys have no respect for the police and City leaders have lost the balls to
fight lawsuits and back their
officers. The Bad Guys know this. No wonder we are broke in L.A.
I don't know where the poster of that statement (about trying not to be
sued)works. But, I can relate.
I don't have the time or experience in the Breed to run for the Board. But,
even if I did, I would think twice.
