Actually, dear Robert came over to greet me and to give me a hug and I cringed.
I told him I was in pain, and, for some reason, he thought that I was joking!!
Can you imagine?? ME----JOKING?????
I guess this is sort of what they were trying to tell me in grade
school....that story about the Boy Who Cried Wolf???
These things catch up with us sometimes. Someone nominated me, seriously, for
a recognition award at work...something about saving a multi-million dollar
contract and other wonderful things that I routinely I do. My boss thought it
was me who wrote the nomination, playing a joke!! How embarrassing was
that????
Maybe I should get more serious???? NAH!!!
I think not! Life is TOO short.
