Dania, I think you're right, markers or no markers there will never be a dog out there who will have EVERYTHING you want--good temperament, movement, free from every possible genetic fault, etc. I agree that a sensible breeder will have to prioritize what they can tolerate. However, for myself, I'd try my dangdest to find nice dogs that were as clear as possible from carrying serious health problems. I will never ever breed to a dog I know carries serious health issues just to get superstars. That was my point. I still have a hard time believing that it will ever come down to making a choice between having a nice dog and having a healthy dog.
