59 is not bad. It is backroads but mostly four lane highway. just watch out for
the towns as speeding tickets is their main source of revenue. 59 will take you
on the east side of houston as that is where you wanna be. i would then jump on
610. that is the loop around houston. this will hit 10 about midway down which
will take you right into beaumont
