[ SHOWGSD-L ] Routes to Nationals

We will be leaving next weekend with our truck and 36' 5th wheel. We can take
the obvious route of I-35 through Oklahoma City, ?Dallas and I-45 to Houston
and on to Beaumont. Mapquest gives me an alternate route that takes me to Tulsa
from KC and down thru E. Texas on US 71 , 59 & 69.? If anyone has experiance
with either route, your input would be appreciated.
