The County of Riverside hired HSUS to do an oversight of Riverside
Animal Control Services after the county had been sited for many
egregious violations of humane treatment at shelters in years past.
The following is the current follow up report. It is 77 pages and
basically says that Riverside Animal Services is now doing an
outstanding job, with a euthanasia rate of zero.
This document has now been sent to the Board of Supervisors.

In light of the outstanding job Riverside Animal Services is doing,
NOW IS THE TIME TO WRITE YOUR supervisor and point out that current
laws are working and we have no need to implement Ordinance no. 630.10
requiring Mandatory Spay/ Neuter and micro-chip of cats and dogs
