Rin Tin Tin makes comeback after nearly 50 years

For the first time in nearly 50 years, Rin Tin Tin will delight viewers with
his stunning beauty and amazing ability in a heartwarming documentary slated
for an October release.
The one-hour documentary, Rin Tin Tin....A Living Legacy, stars the world's
only known authentic Rin Tin Tin line dogs and explores the incredible
88-year continuous history of Rin Tin Tin from his auspicious beginning in
1918 until present day.
The stars of the film, Rin Tin Tin VIII and his grandson Rin Tin Tin X, are
not only line descendants of the original Rin Tin Tin, one of Hollywood's
greatest stars of the silent film era, but also linebred descendants of Rin
Tin Tin IV, star of the popular 1950s series, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin.
The documentary includes detailed segments about Rin Tin Tin's continued
dedication to children through his support of A Rinty For Kids Foundation,
incorporated (ARFkids), an IRS non-profit organization that provides Service
and Pet Assisted Therapy Dogs to special needs children nationwide. Moving
interviews of how Rin Tin Tin descendants have helped special needs children
nationwide are one of the highlights of the documentary.
A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the documentary on DVD will benefit
ARFkids Foundation, incorporated to help provide Service and Pet Assisted
Therapy Dogs to Special Needs Children nationwide.
The documentary also highlights the Rin Tin Tin Museum, which numbers more
than 8,000 pieces and is considered the world's largest collection of German
Shepherd Memorabilia. The Rin Tin Tin Museum is located on the grounds of El
Rancho Rin Tin Tin and open to the public for tours.
Produced and Directed by Kendra Waters, Azure Towers in cooperation with Rin
Tin Tin incorporated, the documentary brings viewers the true story of Rin
Tin Tin and the unequaled accomplishments of not only Lee Duncan, but the
family that has carefully monitored the Rin Tin Tin bloodline for nearly 50
years following his death to fulfill his dream that, "There Will Always Be a
Rin Tin Tin."
With Duncan's endorsement, the lineage was passed to Jannettia Brodsgaard
Propps and then to her granddaughter, Daphne Hereford, who continues the
breeding program producing Rin Tin Tin descendants who are mirror images of
their ancestors. The film also stars Hereford's daughter, Dorothy Yanchak,
narrators Stephanie Olivier-Smith and Homer Carroll.
