Some things are in the eye of the beholder. i can't tell you how many people
think Harley is European. They are shocked when I say American show-lines. I
accept it all as a compliment, They are seeing something that they like; they
have seen things in other dogs they don't like. We do have many different

We must have a different page 23. The dog in my Dec.Review looks nothing
likethe pictures I have of Troll in my 1960s Reviews.

I kept going in my Review and you are right Paula - There on the back pager
I take another trip down memory lane with Lance of Fran Jo - There he is in
Living color. We really had good times in those days and there were some
great dogs, just like there are today.
Someday, those who are Juniors today will fondly recall the memories they
are making - the memories that will last a lifetime.
I too hope the owner of the dog takes my remarks in the spirit intended
since I do not personally know either the people or the dog - I just had a
great time looking at the Review - In fact - how about giving the Review
Editor a round of applause for a job well done.

Fingers crossed that he will be half the producer that Troll was! My
friends have a BEAUTIFUL litter sired by him. Fingers crossed!
We all do show our age, now and then! A lady came up to me in Topeka and
said that Harley reminded her of Lance of Fran-Jo! High praise, indeed!!
THAT made me very happy! I hope the owner of the dog on page 23 take your
remarks in the spirit intended....a wonderful, memorable compliment.

I received the Nov-Dec Review today and it is gorgeous. I don't want to
start any ruckus here - but as I was turning the pages and arrived at page
23 - I said to myself, "Self, that dog looks like Troll von Richterbach -
from the old days - the 1960s." Brought back great memories. I really
