I remember when they were considering an editor, for some reason the
committee looked at every possibility, except Gail. After a couple of other

I like what Susan is doing, and I have faith in our board. Gary has been in
publishing for years, and we have a great group of people representing us. I
know they will pick someone to serve the Review as it has been in the past.
I remember five editors now, and some how the Review continues. Some took a
different approach, and each of them had their talents in different areas.
To my mind, Gail was and is the best, but my personal feelings limit my
ability to be impartial.
Good luck to whoever is wiling to work that hard, and to the board that has
a difficult duty to face. I have faith in them, and know they will do the
right thing. I also like Susan and what she did, especially in taking over a
difficult situation.
History is the only way to judge what is done. Our opinions can help guide
the board, but each of them also has been receiving the Review, and knows what
is needed. They will do what is best for the club, the members and the
Review. At no time that I can remember have we ever had a better group of
board
members to represent us. That includes when I was on the board.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
