Evan,
I don't think the question of the problems surrounding the Review are directed
at Gail on a personal level. Gail has a lot of talent. When the correct ads
come out they are beautifully laid out and certainly the "look" of the Review
is professional as well as artistic.
Unfortunately, the person/organizations that have given the Review awards and
accolades are not the ones supporting the Review. Awards are great however,
they do not benefit those paying hard earned money for ads one bit of good, if
their ad is late, missing, etc.
The frustration of the membership is that this has been going on too long. I
am sure the delays can be corrected, only the Board, and it would take the
majority of the Board,can make that happen. It is clear, the situation with the
Review has caused loss of membership and loss of revenue for the Review. The
ultimate responsible lies with our Board.
The questions remain - what can be done to assist our talented Editor & why
has that not been done?
Personally, I would hope that a new management strategy is put in place and
that Gail will be able to contribute her talents.
