Hmmmm. Me thinks you know more about rescue than you let on.
I had "doggie dumper" duty (the person who takes all the calls from people
who want rescue to take their dog, etc.) for over two months in one stretch
and I can guarentee that everything you wrote is absolutely a real call to a
rescue. It's sad, but I could add a few more.
