As I recall, the requirements were reduced about 6 or 7 years ago as it
was getting difficult to get "new blood" from the breeders ranks.
I also agree with DD and Carolyn, my preference is for breeders as F/M
judges with deep resume's
Some of the qualifications I like to see....
owner handled points
multiple champions
national exposure
working degrees
temperament tester
etc..
