I realize that Helen. I just often wondered why they never developed a
similar system. The revenue to the CKC by having several thousand people pay
over $50 a year dues offset so much more, and enable the perks to be in place.
It gave the membership its "Dogs In Canada" with its dues, as the AKC COULD
have with the gazette. Not saying the Canadian system as perfect, but it
just gave dog people more.
The GSDCC needs to develop a few perks too...their membership is slowly
dying out.
I just feel our GSDCA can give us more bang for the buck. Many members I
have spoken to that have not renewed memberships, I asked why. And the review
and futurity was said over and over. Just was not enough to keep them
there. So give back something......certainly nothing wrong with that.
