I have only been to about three shows in the last three years or so.........so 
maybe it's just a case of "absence makes the heart grow fonder"......such 
outstanding GSDs at these shows ( a nice white dog even showed up on 
Friday..lol.).......I'm about ready to throw my hat back into the 
ring!......too bad it's a Raider Hat....FB

Evidently they didn't like Joan Fox or John.  The danger of mentioning   
anyone is to leave someone out.  Joan was fantastic, standing in pouring 
 rain, 
doing a great job, and making it look so easy.  She stayed the next  two 
days to show us all how much fun a show can be.  And John always looks  like 
he enjoys the dogs, and did his usual good job for all the  exhibitors.  I 
think this group of judges cannot be beat. 
  
All I can say about the entries, is if you weren't there, you missed one of 
 the best group of Specials ever. 
  
These shows were tremendous.  The judging by all judges was top  quality. I 
thought Mr. Cunningham, Dr. Bloom, Mr. Ed, Mr. John and Ms Joan  were as 
good as I have ever seen. The entries left me with the impression that  our 
breed is in good shape and getting better all the time. 
  
I have to say a word about the workers.  I haven't seen so many people   
working so hard to put on five shows in three days before.  Alycia was   
everywhere, Dave worked every minute of the show, then there was Carolyn 
 Martello, 
Nadine, and my bun girl Terressa, my chili boy Tom Mesdag, Lorretta  White, 
The Famous Linda Battistoni who jumped in the help push the hot dogs, and   
too many others to even mention. They all worked through the rain, the cold 
and  kept smiles all days. 
  
This weekend left me feeling good about the shows, and about the people who 
 work to make it so much fun.  This was what dog shows should be  about.   
Good friends, fun days, great dogs, and Vienna Beef hot dogs.
