I'm not showing(may breed a litter next year)yes the Review has changed but I
still renewed. The breed's been good and created many new friendships along the
way so I guess I (for better or worse and for the good times and bad and in16
years I've seen both) can stiil give her and the club I hold dear my $66

I have heard that many people are not renewing their memberships. I know some
of it is due to politics but we are trying to decide whether we should based
solely on the economy. We have had to take furlough days off from our work, no
raises, higher taxes on everything, and some other unexpected debt....that's
being kind. So any thoughts why we should keep our membership? We are not
showing as much in the next year, do not plan to participate in any
Futurities/Maturities, and the Review really isn't as interesting as in past
years. We love getting our ROM plaques but it sounds like plaques are not
going to be around much longer, (Futurity Plaques etc). We have already
decided not to renew other subscriptions, dog and people related. We just
wondered what others maybe doing or feel strongly about. You may email us
privately if you wish.
