What I use in Arizona to reduce the static electricity is Febreze Fabric
refresher Allergen Reducer. Mist, let set a bit then vacuum. Works better then
anything else I have found.

but took the cover off the other day to wash it and never got around to
getting it back on quick enough. My girl is blowing coat like crazy and she
