I remember Sweep well as he spent time at my house. When Gin was in town or
travling she made our home a stop over. He was a welcome guest. It was fun to

It's too bad that Fred Migliore isn't on this List the Longworth(Lloyd
Brackett)
was around when he got started. I think that Lloyd's daughter took over from
her dad but I may be wrong.

Well, my cents worth.........
FIRST, I do not show but talking of breeding and going forward, the Rin Tin
Tin line does have whites.
My breedings with same male/female for all 3 litters; First litter= 1 white
male out of 8 puppies; second litter= 2 white (1 male-1female) out of 9
puppies;
third litter = no white puppies from litter of 4.
The Whites were named.......
First litter - Snoopy (peanuts gang litter)
Second litter - Dove Bar/female, York/male (candy bar litter)
Mom - Black and Silver
Dad - Sable and Black
Still a GSD to me.........and smart, loyal, graceful, fun, quick to please,
loves to learn.

When we began in this breed there was a kennel near us called Longworth
German Shepherds. I remember the great quality of their dogs, and they bred
on whites as well. I remember in those days it was possible to get a white
in a litter.
We have bred away from that, but who knows what the future will bring?
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
