[ SHOWGSD-L ] Registries; Hypothetical

With all these talks of registries and such, I have an interesting hypothetical
question for everyone. Would AKC still have the number of entries they do if
they abolished the use of professional handlers, like in UKC, or do you think
the entries would drop? Now I'm not suggesting we put all you pros out of
business. ;0)
On the other hand, do you think UKC would get more popular if they allowed
professional handlers? Do you think that's not the reason UKC isn't as popular
as AKC? As large a venue as UKC is in the world, sometimes I really do wonder
why they aren't more popular. It's soooo much more relaxed. It's really a fun
venue to show!
