Hi Tish,
I read your post with great interest.
According to most recent AKC statistics we hover in the vicinity of 45,000
to 46.000
annual registrations for the German Shepherd Dog. So lets take the figure
of
registrations 45,500. At 15% membership that would mean we have about
6,825 members.
We do not have that many members, not even close.
We have not for many years.
Our membership in fact, is currently
at less than 8.5 % in relationship to latest total AKC registration
statistics. That is a very poor number
that we would all like to see changed.
