This is doubly interesting (and forgive my lapse into legislation
matters), as my suggestions to the BOD were to create a Legislation
Chair, with 9 legislation Directors, each responsible for a region
based on the Futurity regions. The clubs in that region would then
have a specific person within their area to inform and be informed.
They could get together at each Futurity and renew goals, ideas. And
the Regional Directors would be in close contact with the Chair AND
the clubs in their region. Does this sound familiar to what everybody
is suggesting? It would DEFINITELY work as a Legislation Committee...
Most of the problems arise in their areas. Would that work for a
BOD? It would certainly bring the clubs more into the workings.
I'm just thinking, I'm just listening.

I am not sure if I am for or against Regional representation. It has its
good and bad points. This list has a lot of good thinkers and ideas.
Perhaps
we can come up with something that would be doable and together we could
present an outline (or rough draft) to the Board which should include
the
reduction of Board members. How about it?
