The GSDC of Atlanta has had Associate Members as long as I have been in the
club, over 23 years. While many don't live close enough to regularly attend
meetings, our associate members include folks who have supported the club with
trophies, attended events, and currently one who is assisting with our website
from Arizona. Is he able to attend meetings? Nope, but he definitely is
contributing to the club!!! These folks are known to our membership, take part
in club activities - even if remotely, and are definitely club members.
Regardless of what the PC committee decides to do about "points" for the Club
Challenge, anyone interested is WELCOME to apply for an associate membership
with the GSDC of Atlanta. We are an INCLUSIVE club!
