Education is the number one priority and we need to keep that in mind for
the kids coming up. When I read of a graduation, or an award in school for one
of our kids, I feel that is so much more important than the last champion, or
title.
I have found myself with a Doctorate of Law, and do not regret a day of that
schooling. After 19 years in classes I still spend an additional 30 hours a
year to continue to qualify to practice law. Without an education life is so
much more demanding, and it always opens doors that are closed to others.
I commend Reggie on this choice, and there will be shows in the future for
him to attend. Flower Boy knows more than anyone the direction so many youths
head without that education. I have spoken in private to many of our juniors
to give that message.
My message remains steadfast, get as much education as you can, and it is
second behind family, and far in front of dog shows.
