When each year is over, you always sit and reflect on how the year was
horrible.and that you hope the next is better.I can say for the last few
years we have had our highs and lows as everyone.
I used to sit and hear my mom and people from her generation say, "If you
don't have your health.you have nothing".. Boy isn't that the truth now.in
my 40's I learned and I know that all too well.
We are blessed in December with awesome weather.I am outside switching dogs
around, in a long sleeve t-shirt. I have dogs out in field pens.getting
bathed outside still.we are actually able to hose 2X a day.that is a gift
this time of year. I know others are struggling with the bad weather, but
it's our turn to have mild weather, and we are taking major advantage of it.
I came in for a cup of coffee.brought in one of our dogs so he could get his
Chicken Back.(Yuck).but Neeko loves his raw.what a man. HAHA
Anyhow I sit and write this.I don't know because today.at this hour.and this
minute (that could change too, for I am a woman).I feel like sharing. We
have friends that we are close to that are lonely, depressed, morning,
having major health issues, financial issues etc etc.for I wish for all of
them to find some peace and joy and hope they know that although we don't
have the time that we do think of them often.
I hope in this next year we pick great people to go on the board, to work
for our club.the rescue people keep their wonderful work up and the people
that can change legislature that doesn't work for so many with ridiculous
rules can help and fight those changes.That we all find that penny heads
up.and/or that special someone that makes us smile. I hope that the list
that Bart reads at the National is shorter and the Parade of Greats is
bigger.
My biggest wish for the next year doesn't involve money or something
material.it is that we can all take one person and inspire them and teach
them to go on and inspire someone else.
