[ SHOWGSD-L ] Red Book?...or a big Red BS Commercial?

...not knowing much about the Red Book, I had never seen one when about two
years ago or so the redbook coordinator asked for a bunch of info because a
bitch that I co-owned was in the top 20...well I complied with her wishes, and
when she read my answers to some of the questions, she contacted me and asked
me if I was sure I wanted to say what I did...I told her I gave my honest
opinion and evaluation of this dog...she stated to me that most people do not
usually say there types of things ( the negatives)..I told her that as many
already know..I am NOT most people....well today at the shows in Northern CA. a
breeder, who owns a dog out of my bitch, stated to me that the breeder of this
bitch I co-owned was not happy about what I wrote and wanted to know why I
wrote it.....wonder why the breeder did not ask ME directly...my point is not
about the integrity, or lack there of, of the breeder of my top twenty
bitch...the question is what is the RED Book
for?......I talked about what my bitch produced both good and bad...and if
folks don't like it, the breeder included....too bad...sounds like I'm back in
mediation...lol...don't worry, I go off the list tomorrow until June..lol...FB
