Least we all forget, the temperament of our breed is ALOOF! They should not
be overly friendly toward a stranger. The breed should be protective of what
it owns, but under control. We have caused the problem. Buyers generally
don't have a clue to what correct temperament is. No time to socialize or
train
their dogs and their children are no better!!. Let us not forget what this
breed is all about. German Shepherds are not ment for everyone and neither is
the raising of children. JMO. Mary Gattone
