I was going to stay out of this but this is WRONG. The problem with
confirmation dogs is...the people that own them dont get off their duffs and
train
them in obedience...its not a priority. DONT ever think that a Champion show
dog
cannot work in obedience. I am the example of obedience not being a priority
with a Ch....we started in obedience but have not done training in years.
Well I got off my duff cause we wanted a AOE on our Can/Am Sel. EX. Ch....we
start last October in Novice obedience...shes 6 yrs old now...had 2 litters.
After 2 months in class she got her CGC...and guess what this spring we are
ready
to go for our 3 legs. Her first trial will be in May and we are entered in a
Fun Match this Sunday. Were prouder than heck of her...she loves it...is a
super working dog. BEAUTY and intelligence DO go hand in hand.
