I know these questions were rhetorical, but: Is it ETHICAL to breed a dog that has recently torsioned? No Is it ETHICAL to breed a dog that has produced Mega in more than one litter? No Is it ETHICAL to breed a dog that can't pass OFA? No Is it ETHICAL to breed a dog so afraid of its own shadow it wets itself when confronted? No Or so aggressive it has to be held in a strangle hold to keep it from biting the judge? No Or do NUMBERS make one ETHICAL (or not)? Yes and no. When you get to the point that the dogs are going kennel mad because you've got too many, but you're deadset on finishing a crapload of em...yeah, then IMO you're unethical. Dogs are living beings. They're not around to stroke our egos. And if you get into numbers.... who is going to set the "limit" on what makes you "ethical"?? Your own self should, but there don't seem to be many that do, IMO. - Jackie ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2006.
