It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement on behalf of my dear 
 friend, Chris Jolley Kimerer.
 
On Friday, July 2, 2010,, her beautiful, Ch CaralonQED JD Drew  Bleibtreu, 
RN, OFA  H/E passed away.   He missed a meal for the second day and wasn't 
acting like his normal self, so she  took him to the vet. The preliminary 
veterinarian report is that there  was an abdominal mass, possibly  of the 
hemangiosarcoma type.  Chris decided to say good buy to JD and release  him 
from 
any future  suffering.    
 
JD was born September 15, 2001, bred by Helen "Scootie" Sherlock, Pat  
Parsons & Larry Duerbeck of Caralon Kennels & Don Smith of Bleibtreu.  His sire 
is GV Ch. Hickoryhill's Bull Durham ROM, TC, HIC and his mother is  Sel.Ex. 
CH.CaralonQED A Cut Above ROM.  Chris purchased him as a 2 year old and he 
went to live at her  Tanbark kennel.  He finished his Championship very 
quickly in limited  showing and picked up a Group 2 win while finishing.  While 
he was Chris'  companion, he was also co-owned with Pat Parsons and Tiffany  
Bartley.
 
JD was not only a beautiful representative of the breed and a great  
ambassador of the correct temperament and personality of the breed, but also, 
in  
very limited breeding, was producing beautiful show children as well and  
treasured family pets.
 
He will make his first, and perhaps only, appearance in the new Redbook as  
the number 18 sire in the Futurity/Maturity section.  His futurity/maturity 
 kids included, "Tanzy", Best of Opposite Maturity at the SE Maturity 2009, 
 "Emerald" a finished AKC Champion, "Sparkle", his newest Champion and  
"Rio", Reserve Futurity Dog at the SE Futurity 2009. 
 
A memorial is being prepared for Review publication.  Funds in excess  of 
the ad will be donated to --Hemangiosarcoma Research, Chris' preferred 
charity.

This dog was a personal favorite of mine because of his wonderful attitude
