I am just devastated to announce that my sweet Tulsa is gone...
Tulsa is Jolin's Tulsa V. Kenja TC,OFA(major ptd.). She was away being
conditioned to finish her Championship, and I didn't even have her back a
day to enjoy her. I am just so broken hearted.
We lost her Mom 2 months ago to bloat at a young age and now her, I can't
take this anymore. This is such a Tragedy to this breed to be the victims of
such a horrible thing as Bloat. We lose tooooo many tooooo young.
I can't tell you the paranoid state I live in with these dogs...The first
thing I look at when I see any of my dogs is the loin. THAT shouldn't be! I
am ULTRA careful in EVERY thing I do. After the first dog I lost to bloat I
have never been the same. I feel like I walk on eggshells..Well in 3 years,
this is number 4, I saved one.
I certainly hope we can get a clue as to a genetic marker for Bloat/torsion.
It seems to be an epidemic anymore........
