Raffle to Benefit Degenerative Myelopathy
We will be raffling off a beautiful German Shepherd Tapestry Jacket for the
purpose of collecting monies for Degenerative Myelopathy research. Funds
collected for this raffle will be sent to the American German Shepherd Dog
Charitable Foundation, where the monies will be matched by the Charitable
Foundation, and then sent to Dr. Clemmons. With the purchase of a raffle
ticket, you
will be receiving an acknowledgement from Ginny Altman, the Health and
Genetics Liaison of the American German Shepherd Charitable Foundation. Here
is
your chance to win a beautiful German Shepherd jacket and contribute to a good
cause!
Jacket Description
The jacket has two large German Shepherds on the front of it, 3 large German
Shepherds on the back of it, with paw prints going up the sleeves and around
the collar. The jacket is a button front jacket, with a light blue
background color, and has a mandarin style collar in a deeper blue. This
jacket is a
real conversation piece, and would make a great gift for yourself or any
German Shepherd lover/fancier, while contributing to a worthwhile cause. The
jacket will be special ordered in the size requested by the winner of the
raffle. Available sizes are small, medium, large and extra large.

How to Purchase a Raffle Ticket/Tickets
Raffle tickets cost $10 each, or you may purchase three tickets for $25. Of
course, more than three tickets may be purchased. Raffle tickets can be
purchased only via check or money order. Checks or money orders should be
made
payable to:

Please snail mail your check or money order, along with your email address,

Your checks/money orders MUST be postmarked by 5 p.m., Friday, July 1, 2005
in order for you to be eligible to be included in the drawing, which will be
held on Friday, July 15, 2005. The winning raffle ticket will be drawn by a
police officer from the community where the drawing will be held. You will
be emailed a receipt with a raffle number on it, for each of your purchased
raffle tickets once your check has cleared. You must keep your receipt, with
your raffle number on it, to claim the jacket, if you win. Each person who
purchases a raffle ticket will be acknowledged as a donor to DM research.
Thank you to all who will participate in this raffle! Purchasing a raffle
ticket will help us to fund DM research, and possibly lead to the eradication
of this heartbreaking and devastating disease. Permission is granted to
