Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Rabies shot
I would appreciate any input you could give me about having a rabies shot given
to my 10 1/2 year old male. He is in good health but does show signs of slowing
up. From many things that I have seen it isn't wise to give an elderly shepherd
a rabies shot if he has had his rabies shot every 3 years as required in NYS.
I
am concerned that the strength of the shot may cause him to deteriorate in his
condition.
I may be super careful when it comes to shots but I am nervous about this one.
He was due on 7/10/10. I am still thinking...please help..I may have no choice
but am ignoring it so far.
