In 1971 I worked for a short time with General Motors as a District Manager.
The per diem was $50.00 a day back then, plus if you turned in a receipt for
entertainment of clients they paid that plus tips, parking and other things we
got by with. But then, that was 44 years ago when things were cheap.

It’s now easy to spend $7 for breakfast at McDonald’s if you are brave enough.

Does that mean $25.00 paid each day for two days, or $25.00 for a total, paid
one time for two days?

I did teach English, but I never did figure that out. Besides, $50.00 for
attending two days of board meetings isn't enough to pay for meals.

But, you do get to put it on your resume. Or, you can deny that is what you do
on those weekends and just tell people you play piano in a whore house instead.

not two days and round trip airfare to the Board meetings IS paid for by the
club.

Parking, transportation and baggage is
