Anyone considering running for the Board should attend at least 2 Board
meetings Friday -
Sunday
If you have the expderience of running a large club's Board, that will be
helpful (a local GSD Club
is not the smae)
Nor is running the US Government similar <vbg>
Read and Learn the Club BY Laws. Read the PandP so you can know what goes on
at a Board
meeting.

VOLUNTEER for a committee and get known
David is right. We get a per diem of $25 for two days. You cannot get to and
from the airport no
less eat on that amount. And now it is is $15 a bag to fly. Parking,
transportation and baggage is
not covered by the per diem. Be prepared to spend $$$$. Nothing is paid for
coming coming
and working at the National.
