This is true. I am a CGC Evaluator. Used to be, you took the test,
submitted your credentials and were either approved or not. Now, they charge
you to
keep your CGC "license" even if you have been an Evaluator for years. And, you
are right, if you get denied, you don't get the applicaton fee back. It's
non-refundable with the condition that you can apply again within a year, I
think. Guess they need the money for their new offices and new computer system.
