How could they have made prior contact if the handler won't respond to them via
phone?

In defense of handlers....Did those people make contact with this handler prior
to this mentioned phone call, to discuss the show career of this bitch....or

they just decide without prior conversations with the handler to enter their
dog
in a specific show and then called a handler to handle their dog?
If there has been prior discussions and a mutual decision was made to enter the
dog in a specific show...then yes I would expect a call back in a relatively
short time....but this email does not indicate whether this was an "out of the
blue" call or a call confirming a prior discussion; Also what was the time line
between the show they entered and when they placed the call to this
handler?...I
would need more information before I would offer an opinion in this specific

I sold a dog to a lady and her husband in New Jersey. THEY WANT TO SHOW THE
ITCH. She is lovely. I do not co-own her, so she doesnâ??t have to listen to
e. They entered her at a local all-breed show and telephoned a local handler
hat handles our breed and left a message saying they would like to show her at
his particular show. No answer â?? no return phone call. And we wonder why
ntries are down ???? These are novices to showing. Now - old, seasoned
eople like myself already KNOW that handlers donâ??t return phone calls â?? (
hough I no longer chase handlers) â?? but couldnâ??t this person just pick up
the
hone and say either I am not going to this show, or I have seen your bitch and
donâ??t like her, or just pick up the phone and say drop dead ????? PLEASE,
LEASE, PLEASE, someone explain this behavior to me.
