Stormy , I also really like Quiznos, a group of us go there about 3 times a
month for a get together lunch. It really bothered me about Peta telling them
what to do. We have not been back since I told them of your email. They are not
dog show people but the are animal people and think PETA is more than dangerous
to all of us, anyway, I also emailed them and this is what they emailed back to
me.
Pam
Thank you very much for the feedback. We understand your concerns and we want
to
assure you that our agenda is not focused on PETA, but rather, on bringing the
best Quiznos products to our customers. The initiatives outlined by PETA are
relatively small corporate responsibility steps, and ones that we would
undertake regardless of PETA's interest. However, we do feel a level of
responsibility for our environment and as such, we will continue to seek
sustainability or "green" initiatives will be a win-win-win for Quiznos, our
customers and the environment. It is our hope that you will support us in those
initiatives and in return we promise to continue delivering the same great
quality meats, cheeses and produce that you have come to expect from the
Quiznos
experience.

r Question:
in regards to your recent support of PETA terrorist tactics, I and quite a
few
of my friends have stopped going to your Quiznos in Sulphur Springs TX. We will
not support any business that aligns itself with PETA

Janice, I let this simmer overnight, as I see your point and understand it.
owever. in this battle against the increasing incursion of PETA and HSUS into
ur daily living, the boycotting of business who bend under the dictates of
xtremists, IS effective.  All the stores/businesses have to do to stop the
oycott is to take a stand.  Put a PETA approved section on the menu... I don't
are.  Then it's a matter of choice again.  The grocery stores are learning
that
healthy" or "green" products are selling about like specialty products... they
ave them, but in a special area and not many are being sold.  Too expensive
for
any pocket books. Organic foods have special sections in the freezers and in
ther sections.  But the market doesn't sto
p selling all the other foods.

t doesn't mean closing their doors... it means realizing that bowing to
xtremists doesn't work and good business practices mean they need to find an
lternative.  It means that we, as a concerned publi
c, don't have to do business
ith those who cave to extremists.

oon I will be listing all those business that I can find who have bowed to the
ETA/HSUS pressure and will let you all know when it's available..

ow to find the politicians who are in HSUS/PETA back pockets... DUMP THEM!!!

've been reading the posts on this and find it sad.  PETA would prefer that
ALL
andwich shops that use animal products be put out of business.  They don't
have
he power to close them down, but intimidating them into meeting ridiculous
equirements introduces extra expense and inconvenience gives them a small
win.
f they also get their enemies to boycot these businesses into closing their
oors, they get the BIG win they would rather have anyway, but couldn't
ccomplish on their own.

ither way, PETA wins - your "message" to PETA and Quiznos may actually be a big
ift to the AR's ....
